The MSXdev24 winning game on cartridge
From publisher GSRUN, we received the ROM cartridge version of last year’s MSXdev edition winner, Bun-Ga-Rua, also known as Maiden’s Extreme Fist. This MSX kung-fu game has gone physical and made its way into this year’s loot box.
We love seeing past MSXdev games published on physical ROM cartridges, and having them in our loot box is even better. Bun-Ga-Rua is one of those exceptional games that has followed this path. Japanese retrogame creator Retromixis crafted an amazing MSX2 title with SCC music tunes and submitted it to MSXdev24. Without exception, the jury panel unanimously selected this game as the grand winner that year. Picked up by publisher GSRUN, the game was released as an authentic ROM cartridge, complete with a box and manual.
