The MSX game Telethugs is an intriguing horizontal platform shooter that was originally developed and released for PC before being successfully adapted for the MSX platform.
There aren’t many popular run-and-gun games on the MSX, but that doesn’t mean they don’t belong on the system. This is likely what Amaweks thought when adapting the original 2019 PC version to the both the ZX Spectrum and MSX1 standard. Run and shoot to survive is the mantra with Telethugs. Welcome to the dark side, Teletubbies.
This vibrant MSX1 game, featuring PSG support, presents an abstract graphical backdrop as you tackle thrilling challenges with your TV friends in the most intense and dangerous scenarios. Face off against bosses at the end of each level, ultimately leading to the evil Luciano Huck. Prove who’s truly in charge and liberate the oppressed from his grasp. In each stage, you’ll take control of a different Telethug.
