Alley Cat for MSX 2 available for sale soon

Brazilian developer Diogo Patrão is releasing an MSX2 port of the beloved MS-DOS classic game Alley Cat. While keeping the agile and fluid gameplay of the original, the MSX port presents significant improvements on the graphics department, courtesy of Lucas Ichimaru. The port runs on any MSX2 or higher with at least 32kB RAM. A demo video is available on Youtube, and more information can be obtained from the website (Portuguese only).

The MSX version is being produced on cartridge, complete with a high quality paper box and manual. There is also a special premium version, with plastic box, reserved for project backers. Sales price for the premium version was R$200 (around EUR 35,-). The premium version will be shipped in November 2024, after that any remaining Premium units will be open for sale. A digital version will also be available. While the pre-sales have already closed, sales will open up soon on their website.
