Catbox: 16th game registered in MSXdev24 – Clube MSX Magazine

The MSXdev24 organizers have announced the 16th entry – and the third from Italian software house Gamecast Entertainment in this edition. Catbox is another arcade game, and this one should please pet lovers.

In the game, your goal is to guide your cat out of the maze before time runs out. Collect items along the way to increase your score – and, as is the norm in every arcade game, beat the record.

The labyrinth is guarded by ghosts. The slightest contact with any of them causes you to lose a life.

You must hold down the CTRL key when starting up the computer. A trilingual manual (English, Spanish and Italian) is available with the game.

Catbox is the sixteenth game entered in the 2024 edition of MSXdev , the traditional game development contest for the MSX.
