Kitten2: 14th MSXdev24 entry pays homage to well-known Casio game – MSX Club Magazine
The MSXdev organization has announced the 14th game entered in the 2024 edition: Kitten2 – The Return . In the game, you embark on an adventure to rescue your kidnapped friend from the clutches of your arch-nemesis, the ferocious dog Lester . The game is designed for the MSX Turbo R system.

Kitten2 was created as a spiritual sequel to the game Adventure of a Small Cat – Chibi goes on adventure , released by Casio in 1986 – and known in Brazil by other names, such as, for example, Cat Boy .
In this new platform-style adventure, you use fruits as weapons to face the various threats along the way (right on the first screen, there are caterpillars) – including stage bosses (and the final confrontation with Lester).
The game, which has an infinite continue system, was developed by Italian developer ZioOry and can be played using a keyboard or joystick. The zip file released by the competition organizers includes an instruction manual.
Kitten2 – The Return is the fourteenth game entered in the 2024 edition of MSXdev, the traditional game development contest for the MSX. Already participating are the games Maiden's Extreme Fist – BUN-GA-RUA, Pyjamarama, The Curse of Lies, Harker's Escape, Wizsoul, Grazers, Sam.Pr, Chimney Man, Minas, Whack 'Em Smack 'Em Byrons, Puzzle Mania-MSXdev24 Edition, AlienMSX and Princess Paloma's Rescue.
