Konami's Ping Pong: Classic table tennis game arrives on PS4 and Switch – Revista Clube MSX

Hamster , responsible for the Arcade Archives series, made the classic game Konami's Ping Pong available last Thursday (14) for Nintendo Switch and PS4 .

Originally released in arcades in 1985, Konami's Ping Pong is an adaptation of the popular table tennis game – and where players can compete in single or multiplayer matches. Watch a video from Hamster below.
Konami's Ping Pong on MSX
In addition to arcades, the title was also released for the MSX and the Famicom Disk System in Japan, with the Famicom Disk System version being renamed Smash Ping Pong .
In Europe, Konami's Ping Pong was ported to various microcomputers by Imagine Software , a well-known subsidiary of Ocean Software , with versions for platforms such as the Amstrad CPC , Commodore 64 and ZX Spectrum .
On Nintendo Wii and other platforms
The Famicom Disk System version was later made available on the Virtual Console of the Nintendo Wii and Wii U , as well as Nintendo Switch Online . All of these reissues were exclusive to Japan, except for the Wii version, which marked the first time the Smash Ping Pong version was released internationally.

The arcade version was also previously made available through Game Room for Xbox 360 and Windows computers in 2010, and was released internationally.
