LevelUp! on stage
The Video Game Music band LevelUp! has announced a new tour where they will perform a range of classic MSX tunes live and direct on stage. You can spot them live, end of September in Nijmegen, The Netherlands.
During the MSXgoto40 event last year, which marked the 40th anniversary of the MSX, a specially formed band called LevelUp! took the stage to perform beloved tunes live, resonating with the community’s shared nostalgia. Guitars, bass, synths, and drums were the core elements, complemented by special guest performances from Tadahiro Nitta and Poke -1,170. While the show received high praise, LevelUp! has scheduled upcoming gigs for “The Game On Tour”.
Next weekend, you can experience LevelUp! at TomoFair, the largest Japanese indoor market in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Nijmegen is indeed a favored location for MSX gatherings. The performances will take place on both Saturday and Sunday, featuring a selection of chiptune classics.
