Pajamarama: twelfth game registered in MSXdev24 – Clube MSX Magazine

The MSXdev24 organization announced the entry of the twelfth game entered. It is a conversion of the action game Pyjamarama , released in 1984 by Mikro-Gen and originally developed for Amstrad CPC , Commodore 64 and ZX Spectrum .

The story of Pajamarama

Wally , the protagonist, went to sleep but forgot to wind his watch, and now he is trapped in a nightmare. He needs to get out of this discomfort, and you are the only person who can help him.

Guide Wally as he moves and jumps from room to room, carrying objects (up to 2 at a time), jumping on platforms and avoiding enemies. Just like in nightmares, a lot of things don't make sense: the house is confusing, objects are the wrong size, rooms seem to repeat themselves and nothing is really what it seems.

Pyjamarama is the twelfth game entered in the 2024 edition of MSXdev, the traditional game development contest for the MSX. The games The Curse of Lies, Harker's Escape, Wizsoul, Grazers, Sam.Pr, Chimney Man, Minas, Whack 'Em Smack 'Em Byrons, Puzzle Mania-MSXdev24 Edition, AlienMSX and Princess Paloma's Rescue are already participating.
