Associazione MSX Italia plans a special event with Nishi and other special guests in the beautiful Italian city Pisa on November 16th, 2024!

is thrilled to announce the PISA MSX DEVCON, an extraordinary event that celebrates the rich history and promising future of the MSX platform. Co-organized by the University of Pisa and the MSX Italia Association, the Pisa MSX DEVCON is a unique opportunity to unite MSX and retrocomputer enthusiasts, developers, students and retrogaming enthusiasts in an engaging and informative experience.

MSX creator Kay Nishi will give the opening keynote. Sharing his experience and vision, Nishi will talk about the past, present and future of the MSX platform. Also present will be Maxim Vasov, the engineer who developed the MSX3 hardware, and, for the first time in the retrocomputer scene, Francis Charing, an expert in operating systems for managing multi-CPUs.

Apart from the keynote speech, there will also be workshops led by MSX user Guillaume “Aoineko” Blanchard, expert on the famous MSXgl libraries, to deepen your skills in MSX development.
