These are the Clube MSX releases at MSXSP 2024 – Clube MSX Magazine
Clube MSX started on Saturday (23) the pre-sale of five cartridge products that will be at MSXSP 2024 : the Argus system configuration utility and the games 5Shots , My Sacred Place and The 4 Masters of Melody Ex — the latter available in two box colors (black and red).
Each item can now be purchased in our online store for R$199.00 plus shipping costs. International orders must be placed by email at contato@clubemsx.com.br .
Shipping to pre-sale buyers is scheduled to begin on December 10th. For those attending MSXSP 2024, which will take place on December 7th, it is possible to make the purchase by email and pick it up at the meeting. MSX Club patrons have exclusive discounts!
5Shots
Originally released in 2021 on Gold Disk #4 , 5Shots returns in an enhanced version released on cartridge. This edition includes additional songs and a color palette optimized for MSX2 or higher. The objective of the game is simple and addictive: make the yellow hockey puck stop in the marked areas, using only 5 attempts per stage. Unused chances are accumulated for the next stage.
Argus
Argus is a small system diagnostic and configuration utility. It includes PSG test, date and time adjustment (MSX2 or higher), turbo configuration (on MSX turbo R), joystick test, mouse test and other features. Argus is the first Clube MSX utility released on cartridge. The white box is a tribute to some classic utilities, such as Cheese 2, which were also released in white boxes.
The 4 Masters of Melody Ex
The 4 Masters of Melody is a puzzle game for MSX released by Clube MSX magazine in 2018. The game was inspired by the classic Simon, but with a medieval/fantasy twist. It was Clube MSX 's first game. The “Excellent” version of this classic medieval puzzle game features a series of improvements, such as updated graphics, cutscenes, and the innovative “Where Did I Go Wrong?” feature, which shows, in case of game over, which was the correct color to choose. The game also includes new music and joystick support. This special edition is available in two box options: black and red.
My Sacred Place
My Sacred Place is an action and strategy game for MSX in which you (the kung-fu fighter Yu Tao ) must protect your village's garden from the clutches of the fearsome Garks , garden-devouring demons. Generally speaking, you must arm yourself with as many silver daggers as possible and create protective barriers using ginger seedlings. All of this must be done before the day ends and the Gark horde arrives at dusk.
