The galaxy's most shameless playboy returns. After his adventure in the underworld of Manhattan back in 1991, good old Freddy returns to our screens with a new adventure, a direct sequel to his last title.

Freddy Hardest – Z Planet , which is the name of this new title, is being developed by GameZ Studio in collaboration with the legendary Dinamic (creator of the two previous titles).

The new adventure introduces us to a more veteran, more seasoned Freddy, ready to save the Earth from a global zombie threat . With absolute mastery of martial arts and access to cutting-edge technology, Planet Z will be a mix of action, science fiction , and homage to the past , with all the humor and retro aesthetics that defined the character.

The presentation trailer references classic Dinamic titles, with Freddy appearing at the end wearing his signature blue jumpsuit and carrying his gun, though his appearance is logically adapted to that seen in the two previous games and Enrique Ventura's comic. I found it quite jarring, because I was expecting something more pixelated. Maybe I'm just getting old and it's just a bag of nostalgia.

Although no gameplay has been seen, I'm excited to see that one of the most important characters in Dinamic's catalog is back in the spotlight in a new development, thereby making itself known to younger generations of players.

Freddy Hardest – Planet Z is coming to PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, Amazon Luna, and Netflix in 2026. A wide range of options means everyone can enjoy the new adventure of a character who has become a staple of video game history.
